Herbed Cream Cheese

This recipe is simple, but it was very popular at Cooking Nights!

Ingredients
  • 8 oz of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 TBS finely chopped fresh dill, or 1 tsp dried
  • 1 TBS finely chopped fresh parsley (mince the parsley instead, if you aren’t using the food processor)
  • 1 TBS finely chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp dried
  • 1 TBS finely chopped fresh chives or scallion greens
  • black pepper to taste (or would you like cayenne/red pepper better?)

Method
Blend the herbs into the softened cream cheese using a food processor, mixer or by hand with a fork. Cover and chill.
